Morocco - hygge away from home

Moroccan nana tea

Moroccan nana tea

I’ve really looked forward to time off with the family this year. Nothing beats those precious moments with the little people in my life. Well, actually they’re not that small anymore.

My husband has Moroccan background, but has lived in Denmark since the age of 6 and he is in many ways more Danish than I am. But the roots are undeniable. We’ve travelled to Morocco several times since we became parents for the first time almost 18 years ago. This year 4 weeks have been scheduled and the first week has already passed though a little differently than planned.

We were supposed to spend most of our holidays in Morocco and a week only in neighbouring Spain, but due to sickness in the family I’ve returned to Spain with kids yesterday after less than a week in Morocco. My hubby has returned to Sweden, but will hopefully join us again soon.

So the planned trips in Morocco have been postponed for next time we go to Africa.
